Playing with GPS Track

Now that I have *two* followers (thanks Gary and Rob) I'd better make an effort to post here more than every two month.

With Rob's help, I just learned how to import my GPS track into Google Maps. Here's the track from my flight last week. Hope if works. Notice I was too lazy to try to get a clearance to transition through Willow Grove's airspace, so I hugged the Class D all the way around the Wings.

  1. OK, didn't work. Oh well. Back to the drawing board.

  2. What I typically do, is take a screenshot of the track, and insert that as an image into Blogspot. That way they can see the image of the track, and click on it if they want to go to the Google Page. Embeding the map can be done, but slows down Blogspot, so Linking it is typcially better. Insert the photo, highlight it and/or some Text, and "Add Hyperlink". Paste the Link into this field, and you have yourself setup.
